What is manifestation?

It means cultivating a deep-seated belief in the absolute fact that your desired outcome will become true. This unwavering faith in your success acts as a powerful force that propels you forward, even in the face of obstacles or setbacks.
Journal prompts for manifesting your dream life
So, you know you should be manifesting through journaling but… how do you do it? What do you write?
Opening the journal to the blank page staring back at you can be scary and it can be difficult to know where to start.

1. Gratitude and Abundance
What are three things I am grateful for in my life right now, and how can I amplify this feeling of abundance?
- The fastest and most effective way to manifest is to work from a place of abundance and gratitude. When we lead from a place of lack we only create more lack. No one likes desperate energy, not even the universe! If we focus on all the things we don’t have, we will end up seeing holes everywhere. Where and what we focus our energy on, amplifies – this becomes our lived experience! Moving from a place of abundance is high vibration energy which only brings in more abundance. When we focus on all that we do have, we see more things to be grateful for. When we choose to be grateful for what we already have and say “Thank you universe for x, y, z, I am so grateful and willing to accept more abundance into my life” we keep our energy and vibration in the right frequency to welcome more into our lives.
2. Vision Board Exploration
If I could create a vision board representing my ideal life, what images, words, and symbols would I include? How can I bring elements of this vision into my daily reality?
- This is a great foundation for getting clear on our goals and bringing clarity to what we are in need of focusing on. To manifest our dream life we need to first know how it looks!
Often, we wait mindlessly for the evidence to just appear in our lives before we begin to believe we live the life we’re manifesting but we need to work from the other way round. First, focus on the identity / vision of what we want; then, actively bring this into our lives. Make conscious & intentional choices towards our dream life & soon the evidence begins to mount towards the case that we are already living it.

3. Self-Love and Acceptance
What are three things I love about myself, both inside and out? How can I show myself more love and appreciation each day?
- Moving from a place of gratitude isn’t limited to just the physical world around us but also within us. Our relationship to manifesting is tied to our relationship with ourselves too. Moving from a place of love is the highest vibration (see our earlier point on moving from gratitude and abundance) & so many of us talk badly to ourselves in our head! Help break the cycle by finding some self appreciation.
4. Dream Life Visualisation
Close your eyes and visualise your dream life in vivid detail. What does it look, feel, and sound like? How can you align your actions with this vision?
- Further on from our earlier point we need to get clear on what our dream life looks / feels like to manifest it into our reality. The conscious and subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between reality & imagination; both create an internal response within the body. So, considering we manifest our energies and vibrations that come from within us we want to align with the energy / experience of having what we desire. If we can feel what it would be like to have our desires, really truly feel it & experience it, we become an energetic match for it meaning it will manifest into our reality. Once we can feel it / see our we can then chose to make aligned action to get us there.
5. Embracing Change
What limiting beliefs or fears are holding me back from manifesting my desires? How can I release these barriers and embrace change with courage and resilience?
- Are we getting in our own way? Holding back? Self Sabotaging? Take this opportunity to reflect on some of the habits or belief systems we may be operating from. So many of the actions, thoughts & beliefs we have are unconscious. The brain suns on autopilot, but if we’re looking to manifest a new life, it requires new ways of thinking and being!
6. Affirmations for Success
Write down three empowering affirmations that resonate with your goals and aspirations. Write them daily to reinforce a positive mindset and align with the energy of the affirmation.
- When manifesting our dream life we need to believe we already have what we desire. Affirmations are more than just positive thinking; they are intentional statements that affirm a desired outcome or belief. When repeated consistently, they can rewire your subconscious mind, gradually shifting your thoughts and behaviours towards your goals and one step closer to your version of ‘Her’. It is the act of repeating these statements throughout your day that changes your brain chemistry, your thought patterns and your beliefs, which in turn, changes your energy & raises your vibration. This leads us to make new choices, have a new found sense of confidence & manifest what we desire into our life. In repeating them daily we begin to believe, get excited!
7. Letting Go of the Past
What past experiences or regrets am I holding onto that no longer serve me? How can I release these burdens and create space for new opportunities and growth?
- When we are manifesting a new life, a new job, a new version of ourselves, we have to let go of the old to welcome in the new. There isn’t space for the two. But, sometimes that means finally letting go of the things we are carrying around with us. The regrets we use as excuses to stay in the safe zone or memories that haunt us every day.
Who do we become when we’re not being shaped by our past?
We want to be defined by our future, defined by our version of “Her” ahead of us, not the past that has been and gone. We need to face our hurt, our pain, our unconscious programmes running in our brain that are keeping us stuck, so we can finally free ourselves of them – therefore creating space for the new.

What specific goals or intentions do I want to manifest in the next month, 3 months, 6 months? Write them down with clarity and conviction, visualising their successful realisation.
- It’s important to get clear on the directions of your thoughts, energy & actions when manifesting your dream life. Setting intentions help you stay in alignment & give you an anchor point.
