In the journey of personal growth and our path to ‘Become Her’, one powerful tool that often gets overlooked is the simple practice of affirmations. Affirmations are positive statements that can help reshape your mindset, boost self-esteem, and manifest your desires.
Understanding Affirmations:
Affirmations are more than just positive thinking; they are intentional statements that affirm a desired outcome or belief. For example: “I release all self doubt & trust my abilities” or the infamous TikTok affirmation

When repeated consistently, they can rewire your subconscious mind, gradually shifting your thoughts and behaviours towards your goals and one step closer to your version of ‘Her’. It is the act of repeating these statements throughout your day that changes your brain chemistry, your thought patterns and your beliefs, which in turn, changes your energy & raises your vibration. This leads us to make new choices, have a new found sense of confidence & manifest what we desire into our life. In repeating them daily we begin to believe, get excited!

To create lasting change we have to change our identity & decide we’re the type of person who does ‘x, y, z’, therefore; making choices towards what a person with that identity would do, which then eventually becomes us as the two merge together.
For example: “I am a healthy person who makes healthy choices.”
So in order to ‘Become Her’, or work towards our goals, we have to know what the identity is of someone who has it. We can then use positive affirmations throughout the day that align with our goals & identity. Therefore, keeping us motivated, on track & changing our subconscious mind to believe we are that person.
How to Use/Create Affirmations:
1. Set Your Intentions
Start by identifying areas of your life where you seek growth or improvement, whether it’s self-confidence, abundance, career advancement, relationships, or health.
2. Craft Your Affirmations
Formulate positive statements that reflect your desired reality. Use present tense, affirming language, and keep them concise and specific.
3. Repeat Daily
Repeat your affirmations continuously throughout the day.
To stay in touch with your affirmations you can:
- Repeat in your head. Make it the soundtrack to your day running through them constantly
- Say them out loud
- Repeat in the morning and evening as part of your routine
- Create a digital background with your affirmation on to use as your phone screensaver, laptop or iPad wallpaper
- Journal them & write out your affirmations
- Set alarms or reminders on your phone to get them through the day
- Write them on sticky notes and place them on your mirror
4. Believe and Feel
As you recite your affirmations, embody the feelings associated with them. Visualize yourself already living the reality you desire, and cultivate a sense of belief and gratitude. Get excited! The higher your vibration, the more likely you are to draw in your manifestations, desires & goals.
5. Stay Consistent
Consistency is key to reprogramming your subconscious mind. Commit to your affirmation practice, even on days when you may feel doubtful or resistant. This is EXACTLY when you should be doing it.
